Just after 1500hrs, CVFC was alerted for a large outside fire on the government grounds in the area of the Stemmers Run Boat Ramp. Units arrived to find a fast moving fire in the marsh area and requested additional units. Crews worked for several hours to extinguish the fire and clean up numerous hot spots.
