Just before midnight CVFC was alerted for a structure fire in Town. Truck 1 arrived to find smoke showing from a two story duplex. The fire was located in the boiler room and knocked quickly containing it to the room and contents. Galena Vol. Fire Co., Inc. Hacks Point Fire Company. Volunteer Fire Company #1 of Chesapeake City, Inc. and Townsend Fire Company were on scene to assist with checking for extension and ventilation.
