Just after 1830hrs, CVFC and CC Paramedic 3 were alerted for an MVC w/Rescue. Rescue 1 arrived to find a pickup vs a combine with one person trapped. As the crew began stablizing the vehicle and setting up the rescue tools, A192s crew began patient care. The drivers door window was removed and a haligan was used to make a purchase point near the nader bolt. A set of spreaders was used to pop the door open. The operator was removed and transported to Christiana hospital for further treatment. Grove Neck Road remained closed completely until the vehicles could be removed. Lieutenant 1 R.
