Just before 1800hrs, CVFC along with mutual aid companies were alerted for a Structure Fire on Knights Island Road. Rescue 1 arrived first to smoke showing from the eves and all occupants out of the residence. The crew stretched a line inside and up to the second story for a room and contents. KC Tower 3 arrived and was sent to the roof for ventilation. Additional units were staged on the roadway and the crews were used for salvage and overhaul.
