Just after 1600hrs, Boat 1 was alerted to assist Galena VFC with a Boat Fire in the Sassafras River. Units arrived to find an approximately 40' Catamaran moored in the river fully involved. Crews worked to extinguish the fire and place boom around the vessel to contain fluids. Boat 1 was cleared the scene by 1845hrs.
