The Fireline Officers recognized a growing need to add an additional engine to help better serve our area. After a nearly year long search our efforts lead us closer to home then we imagined. On Friday Feb 22, several officers traveled just the 21 miles south to Chestertown to pickup the newest piece to our fleet. Engine 67 will be renamed to Engine 1 and after some additional tools are added and required training, it will be placed into service to serve the community. We would like to thank the officers and members of Chestertown Vol Fire Co for everything during this process. Chestertown and Cecilton share the same motto and it is displayed proudly on all of our apparatus:
